Well, hello there.
I’m a freelance writer and editor, with an instinct for poetic, approachable voice and narrative. Whether website copy, marketing collateral, brand voice development, blogging, print articles, social media copy, or grant writing, I help clients find the right words to tell their story and reach their goals.
With over a decade of experience teaching composition and creative writing at Ashford University; Loyola University, New Orleans; Louisiana State University; Belmont University; and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, I can write for you, edit your work, or coach you toward publication. I have expertise in editing academic articles and manuscripts, creating job materials (translating CVs into resumes and academic skills into killer cover letters), book proposals and queries, and personalized tenure binders.
I have an MFA in creative writing from Louisiana State University and a BA in English from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I’ve been poetry editor at the New Orleans Review, a regular contributor to Weird Sister, and book review editor at The Southern Review.
